The Space Shuttle Crew...well sort of.

If we look like we all had a lot of fun shooting this picture you are 100% correct. The video footage of us shooting this with a green screen background would win top prize on America's Funniest Videos...hands down. It took 4 takes to get Sherry's picture right, through no fault of her own. She's like a cartoon character, which only cracked us up. Hope even has a smile here ! Best part about the photo is Nicky being the centerpiece ! He looks like the captain of the ship directing all of us. It actually took a little over 30 minutes for them to shoot and crop the photo.

This is Sherry's Green Screen. I believe take #3.

Here's Rich's green screen. I hope he actually got to the "Ice Show" the next day and didn't wind up in traction ! I think they made him hold that pose for 20 seconds.

Kennedy Space Center Group Photo

This was the shot that I cut Rich's head off on from my Blackberry. This one came from the folks @ KSC (Kennedy Space Center). I wish we would have been earlier risers, so that we could have spent more time with Rich, Nicky and Lu. I feel bad that I bored them to death with my space program stories from when my dad worked for NASA. One day I'll dig out that film slide that came back from Apollo 11 and share it.

Sherry's Thanksgiving Homework

The assignment was for her to draw about what she did on Thanksgiving. She took creative liberty showing the green golf ball (that's what she calls it) of EPCOT.

She had to draw 4 pictures, which only too 90 minutes. Not exactly Rembrandt, but good enough for a 5 year old.

2,484 miles later...

...we are home and of course the little people had to throw on Disney Channel. Ugh !!!

Hope had to straighten her hair and Maryss had to get her Mac book.

Everything back to normal !

The Eagle Has Landed back home @ Tranquility base !

The traffic over the final 165 miles was horrible. If we didn't take 295 instead of the Turnpike we'd still be on the road. Almost 17 hours total on the road. Glad to be home !

Del Mem Bridge

As soon as we got off the bridge on the "Joisey" side the info sign said, "NJ Turnpike backed up". That triggered and evasive maneuver to take I-295 into US-1, which saved about 2 hours worth of time sitting in bumper to bumper. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

11 min to go 3 miles

Not a good sign. I need a traffic report and fast.
